Cookies
A plain-English guide to the cookies and third-party services this website uses, and how you can control them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site, or a service it uses, recognise your browser when you return or move between pages. Some cookies are set by the website you are visiting; others are set by third-party services that the website uses.
The short version
- We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, but only if you accept analytics cookies. If you reject them, or don't choose, Google Analytics does not load.
- We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
- Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which does not set cookies.
- YouTube videos only load when you click play, and use YouTube's privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) mode.
Analytics cookies: Google Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 (property G-CTRT8R2W1N) to understand how people use this website: for example, which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, how they arrived at the site and the type of device and browser used. We use this information to improve the website.
Google Analytics is only loaded after you choose Accept analytics in the cookie banner. It then sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_<ID>) to tell visits and visitors apart. The information is collected and processed by Google. You can read more in Google's explanation of how it uses data from sites that use its services.
We remember your choice in your browser so we don't ask again on every page. You can change your mind at any time:
If you reject analytics cookies after accepting them, we stop Google Analytics and remove its cookies from your browser.
Fonts: Google Fonts
The text on this website uses fonts served by Google Fonts. Google Fonts does not set cookies, but when a page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers to download the fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and basic browser information.
Videos: YouTube
Some pages include videos hosted on YouTube. To protect your privacy, a video player is not loaded until you click play. Until then, we only show a preview image, which is loaded from YouTube's image servers. When you click play, the video is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube says this mode does not store information about you to personalise your viewing unless you watch the video, but once you play a video YouTube and Google may set cookies or use similar technologies.
Contact and demo request forms
Our contact and demo request forms are provided by Oracle NetSuite, the business system we use to manage enquiries. When you submit a form, the details you enter are sent securely to us in NetSuite. The form may set cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work, such as to protect against spam and keep your session secure. These cookies are not used for analytics or advertising.
No advertising cookies
We do not use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies on this website.
How to control cookies
As well as using the cookie banner, you can choose to block or delete cookies using your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- see which cookies are stored and delete them individually or all at once;
- block third-party cookies;
- block all cookies from particular websites, or from all websites;
- delete all cookies when you close your browser.
Look for the privacy or cookies section of your browser's settings, or see the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. Blocking analytics cookies will not stop this website from working.
