Modernisation & Integration

Websites designed around your business, built to be managed.

The creative brief should lead and the CMS should support it. We design distinctive websites, build them in Sitefinity and connect portals and webstores to the systems behind them.

Design-led websites

Start with the experience, not a template.

A template-first approach asks, "Which familiar CMS components can we fit this into?" We ask, "What is the right experience for this audience and this brand?"

We begin with your audience, message, brand and the experience you want to create. Designers have room to develop original ideas without needing to know how to build them in the CMS, and development then turns those ideas into a website that can be delivered and maintained.

An unfamiliar feature should start a conversation, not end an idea.

01 / How we work

Four stages. One continuous conversation.

Creative and development teams collaborate throughout, reviewing and refining together rather than passing work across four isolated handovers.

01

Creative brief

Purpose, audience and ambition: what the website needs to achieve, who it's for and what it should communicate.

02

Design concepts

Visual direction, layouts, imagery, typography and the intended experience, including how layouts adapt to different screens.

03

Front-end prototype

A working, responsive browser version with real interactions, touch and keyboard behaviour, reviewed before CMS integration.

04

Sitefinity implementation

The approved front end becomes editable content and reusable components, using standard, adapted or bespoke elements as needed.

02 / Preserve the design, make it manageable

Creative freedom, with practical collaboration.

Creative freedom doesn't mean ignoring accessibility, performance, budget or technical feasibility. We involve development early so unusual interactions are discussed before they become firm commitments, then find a workable way to deliver the creative intent.

Together we agree what your team can freely edit and what should keep its approved styling, so routine content changes don't need a developer or undermine the design. Before handover we review the site with real content, check the agreed devices and browsers, and make sure your team is confident maintaining it.

One approach. Two audiences.

For Web Control, the aim is a distinctive expression of our own identity. For our customers, it's a website shaped around their business, starting with their audience and brand, not a variation of the same standard design.

03 / Portals and webstores

Websites that work with your business systems.

Beyond the brochure site, we build portals and webstores that give customers, suppliers, dealers and employees secure access to the information they need, connected to your ERP.

Webstores

Online ordering that reflects your products, prices and customer accounts, with orders flowing into your back-office systems.

Customer, supplier and dealer portals

Self-service access to orders, invoices, account status and more, without exposing your ERP directly.

04 / Testimonials

In our clients' words.

Webstore

Just to give you some feedback on the Webstore project which went live at the beginning of last month as I feel it's always good to give feedback where possible.

Both Mo and Martin worked exceptionally hard to get the website up and running on time and I must say I was impressed with how quickly we managed to get the site live.

We have received positive comments from customers and internal staff on how professional the site looks plus how easy it is to navigate through. We linked the website nicely into Infoflo, for customers to view orders, invoices etc but for customers without an account, they pay on credit card at full list price which allows us to capturing passing trade.

Once again, thank you to Web Control for working with us to get this project live.

E-Commerce Solution

Ambirad contacted Web Control to assist in the development of an E-Commerce solution for the business. The Webstore we were presented with was simple to use, integrated brilliantly with Infoflo and was developed inline with our existing website style.

The Webstore has the ability for customers to see their current account status live from Infoflo, View/Update delivery addresses, resend past invoices and view order progress. The implementation of the Webstore has improved our customer service and allowed customers to order parts anytime of the day.

The knowledge and support from Web Control was excellent and the project was delivered inline with budget and on time.
